We have the pleasure of reporting that the rate of new business growth we have experienced over this last quarter has been impressive. Our business development team have signed 6 serious contracts with various wholesale and enterprise clients, whom we are in the process of deploying across our network.
The services that these projects consist of are a mix of Metro E, high volume usage based internet access, national transit, CSC IP Core / MPLS, co-location, and managed hosted solutions to name a few.
The recent developments in the telecommunications landscape in South Africa, such as the growth of Teraco as a carrier neutral co-location facility which also offers independent internet exchange points, is resulting in significant changes in the way in which services are provisioned, and is making it more attractive for global players to extend their reach and develop further in Southern Africa, which in turn benefits all service providers and their clients.
In conclusion, I would like to say well done to our team, and to thank all of our partners who are assisting in developing the telecommunications industry in South Africa to be in line with global standards to the benefit of all South Africans.
